The following Leagues are available at the King Curling Club:
Men's Evening Team Entry - Monday 7:00 PM & 9:00 PM draws
Weekly games randomly scheduled over 7:00 PM and 9:00 PM draws - League play Starts Sept 28 - continues for 24 weeks
This is a structured league for men's teams of four that play a scheduled round robin against other teams in the league.
The capacity for Men’s Team Entry is 20 teams.
Games are regularly on Mondays and scheduled randomly.
Upcoming games appear on your Home Page when you are logged in.
Teams could play 2 - 4 Tuesday games over the course of the season to make up for facility closures for holidays, inclement weather or for rescheduled games.
This is a Team Entry league so priority is given to full team entries of 4 players. Returning teams with a minimum of 3 returning members will be given first right of registration. At least three team members must be registered and have paid in full before September to retain their spot.
Singles should contact the League Convenor to be connected with registered 3 person teams or other singles.
Returning teams will be seeded as per the Final League standings from the previous season. The League Committee will seed teams with less than 3 returning team members or new teams.
Team Entry Leagues have the option of adding a 5th Player to their team. The skip of the team is to notify the League Convenor of players' name.
5th's do NOT pay the league fee, but must be a registered, paying member of another league at KCC.

Sturling is a two-person team game developed by stick curlers and open to anyone using a stick or the traditional slide delivery. Games are six ends; each player alternately delivers six stones per end while their teammate skips the other end, and sweeping is allowed only from the hog line to the back of the house. A faster, easier-on-the-body game that's perfect if you want great curling without sweeping.

Our newest weekday social draw, ideal for members who prefer to curl before dinner. A relaxed, welcoming league focused on fun, friendly games and time with fellow curlers off the ice afterward. Open to any combination of men and women, and suitable for all skill levels. Teams are chosen by the League Convenor and changed half way through the season.
The league is capped at 9 teams. If the cap is reached one team will have a bye each week resulting in curlers having two or three evenings off throughout the season, but are often asked to spare.

The Wednesday Evening Mixed Social League open to any combination of men and women.
This league is a great choice for BOTH new and experienced curlers with the emphasis on fun curling and great socializing.
Teams are chosen at the beginning of each half of the season by the league convenor and games are scheduled randomly.

This league will be capped at 18 teams and if the cap is reached two teams will have a bye each week resulting in curlers having 2-3 nights off during the season.

Thursday Afternoon Women’s Day League welcomes women to sign up regardless of age or experience. Teams are developed by the league convenor with the goal of balancing teams and encouraging social play. The curling season will consist of two halves with new teams formed at the mid-point of the season. The league will be capped at 9 teams. If the cap is reached one team will have a bye each week resulting in curlers having two or three afternoons off throughout the season.

This is a Team Entry League for mixed gender teams of fous that play a scheduled round robin against other teams in the league.
This is a Team Entry League and, as such, priority will be given to 4 player team entry registrations. Teams shall consist of two male and two female curlers in alternating male/female positions. Returning teams with a minimum of 3 returning team members will be given first right of registration. At least three team members must be registered and have paid in full no later than September 7 to retain their spot.
Returning teams will be seeded as per the Final League standings from the previous season. The League Committee will seed returning teams with less than 3 team members or new teams.
Singles nterested in joining should contact the League Convenor to be connected with other individuals or teams looking for players.

Our introductory program for children ages 7–12
For 2026/27 the Tuesday and Thursday afternoon sessions are combined into a single Sunday morning session (10:00–11:30 AM).
Young curlers learn the basics — delivery, sweeping, etiquette and teamwork — with lighter “little rocks” and lots of on-ice fun, led by experienced coaches.
NEW for 2026/27 - U15/U18/U21 - Sunday Morning 10:00-11:30 AM

Open to youth aged 12 to 20
For 2026/27 the Tuesday and Thursday afternoon sessions are combined into a single Sunday morning session (10:00–11:30 AM).
Development curling for youth in the U15, U18 and U21 age categories, under the direction of experienced club coaches.
Using the adult rocks players build technical skills, strategy and game experience, and have opportunities to compete in club and regional junior events.
Adult Instructional - Sunday 1:00-3:00 PM
One Draw 1:00 to 3:00PM (Oct-Dec)
This is a basic learn to curl program. This adult program will be open to all new curlers or players that have not curled for some time and wish to learn the sport outside of a formalized league environment. Eight consecutive sessions will be held on Sunday afternoons. The maximum number of participants will be 32. Each session will build on the previous one, progressing through a program approved by the Ontario Curling Association and facilitated by our trained OCA coaches. You will be instructed on the proper way to deliver a rock, basic strategy, team play, and will be involved in structured games when ready to do so. At the conclusion of this eight week program players will be encouraged to join other regular leagues beginning in January and will be placed on teams by each league's convenor. Feedback from our previous participants has been very positive.
The cost of this league is the covered by your basic membership fee if this is the only league you have joined. An additional fee will apply for the remainder of the year if you wish to continue. This is the best way to learn curling in a structured environment with a proven method of teaching and good fun as well!
If you have joined this program in the past or have previous experience, please choose one or more of the advanced learning pograms that will be offered from time to time.
Please note that this program starts October 25 and runs for 9 weeks.

Mixed Social - Sunday Late Afternoon 3:30-5:30 PM

The Sunday Afternoon Mixed Social League offers mixed gendered teams chosen at the beginning of each half season by the league convenor. This league is a great choice for the new or experienced curler with the emphasis on fun curling and socializing. The league will be capped at 9 teams. If the cap is reached one team will have a bye each week resulting in curlers having two or three afternoons off throughout the season, if subs aren't needed.
Mixed Social - Sunday Evening 6:30-8:30 PM
One draw - 6:30 - 8:30 PM - Start Date Oct Oct 4
The Sunday Evening Mixed Social League offers mixed gender team chosen at the beginning of each half of the season by the league convenor. This league is a great choice for BOTH new and experienced curlers with the emphasis on fun curling and great socializing.
